Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") establish the conditions for using the online shop (hereinafter referred to as "Service") provided by OK ROPE, a specialized jump rope store (hereinafter referred to as "Store"), on this website. Users (hereinafter referred to as "Users") shall use this Service in accordance with these Terms.

1. Membership

  1. A "Member" is an individual who agrees to these Terms and applies for membership following the procedures set by the Store.
  2. "Member Information" refers to the information about a member's attributes disclosed to the Store and the history of the member's transactions.
  3. These Terms apply to all members and must be observed during the registration process and after registration.

2. Registration

  1. Membership Eligibility: Customers who agree to these Terms and submit the designated membership application will be qualified as members after completing the registration process. The registration procedure must be carried out by the individual becoming a member. Registration by proxy is not permitted. The Store may refuse membership applications from individuals whose membership has been previously revoked or those deemed unsuitable by the Store. Minors cannot use the service without the consent of their parent or guardian.
  2. Entering Member Information: When registering, carefully read the input instructions and accurately enter the required information in the designated input form. Special characters, old kanji, and Roman numerals cannot be used in member information registration. If such characters are registered, the Store will modify them.
  3. Password Management:
    • Passwords are for the member's personal use only and cannot be transferred or lent to third parties.
    • Members are responsible for managing their passwords and should change them regularly to prevent others from knowing them.
    • Any intentions expressed to the Store using a password will be considered the member's own intentions, and the member will be responsible for any resulting payments.

3. Changes

  1. Members must promptly notify the Store of any changes to their registered information, such as name or address.
  2. The Store is not responsible for any damages caused by failure to register changes. Please note that transactions processed before a change is registered will be based on the previous information, even if the change is registered later.

4. Cancellation

If a member wishes to cancel their membership, they should personally carry out the cancellation procedure. Please contact us through the inquiry form to request cancellation, and we will process it.

5. Loss of Membership and Liability for Damages

  1. The Store may revoke membership if a member provides false information when applying for membership, fails to pay for mail-order purchases, or for any other reason the Store deems the member unsuitable.
  2. Members shall be liable for damages incurred by the Store if they:
    • Misuse their member number or password
    • Interfere with the Store's operations by accessing the website to alter information or send harmful computer programs
    • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of products handled by the Store
    • Violate these Terms of Service in any other way

6. Handling of Member Information

  1. The Store will not disclose member information to third parties without the member's prior consent, except in the following cases:
    • When disclosure is required by law
    • When the Store determines it necessary to protect its rights, interests, or reputation
  2. Member information will be managed by the Store in accordance with our "Commitment to Personal Information Protection." The Store may use member information to provide services to members, improve service content, promote service use, and ensure smooth and healthy service operations.
  3. The Store may provide information (including advertisements) to members via email newsletters or other methods. If a member does not wish to receive such information, they can notify the Store using the designated method to stop receiving it. However, information necessary for Service operations cannot be stopped at the member's request.

7. Prohibited Actions

Members are prohibited from engaging in the following actions when using the Service:

  2. The Store does not guarantee that emails or content sent from its web pages, servers, or domains are free from harmful elements such as computer viruses.
  3. The Store is not responsible for any damages resulting from a member's violation of these Terms.

11. Revision of Terms

The Store may revise these Terms at its discretion and establish supplementary terms. Revisions or supplements to these Terms will take effect when the revised Terms or supplementary terms are posted on the designated site. In such cases, members shall comply with the revised Terms and supplementary terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

In the event of a dispute regarding these Terms, the district court with jurisdiction over the location of the Store's head office shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
